As we age the bone density changes distribution around the temple area. There is often a loss of volume at the temple that may not be noticed when looking directly in the mirror. There can also be bone deposits in the brow bone making the brow look more pronounced. The effect is ageing as you get a dropping of the outside of the eyebrow and sagging of the upper lid. This adds up to the face looking tired and gaunt.

An effective solution is the use of dermal fillers in the temple area. It does not take much filler to give the area a lift resulting in the lift of the brow, softening of the deeper lines around the eyes and rejuvenating and freshening the face.

At Mid Kent Aesthetics Clinic we make sure that having the Hollow Temple treatment is as comfortable for the patient as possible. Due to the fact the treatment is administered by a doctor the dermal fillers we use can contain Lidocaine which is a prescriptive local anaesthetic.

RECOVERY

The patient may experience bruising and swelling which is quickly resolved in one or two days. The dermal fillers give very satisfactory results with minimal intervention.
